Franklin submersible motors are designed primarily for operation in the vertical, shaft-up position. During acceleration, the pump thrust increases as its output head increases. In cases where the pump head Engine and prop Franklin 220HP 6 cyl 6A-350-C1 engine TT 968 hours total, recently overhauled due to light prop strike and still as supplied from overhaul i.e. not yet re-fitted to A/C. Carb, CSU and Mags all overhauled at same time.
