The "C" channel was an option to extend coverage to 512 MHz. The standard 5328 did not have that. There are several versions of the C boards. I was surprised to see that the heat sinked transistors on the C board run alarmingly warm, in fact very hot, and the large radial heat sinks are an absolute necessity, as is a working fan.
